Improving mental health in any population is a complex problem. With research projects spanning across the continuum of care, SEED’s work reflects the complexity of preventing mental disorders and promoting mental health.

What is the continuum of care?

The continuum of care is a common concept across all areas of healthcare. It has three broad phases:

At SEED, we apply the continuum of care for whole populations. We work to prevent mental disorders and promote mental health:

1

in the general population

2

for those with backgrounds of trauma and disadvantage

3

for those living with neurodevelopmental challenges and chronic illness
