Congratulations to Dr Hannah Jarman who has been recognised as a 2025 Young Tall Poppy Science Award recipient! This well-deserved award celebrates Hannah’s contribution to science and dedication to public engagement.
Hannah’s research examines the complex, far-reaching influences of social media on body image and eating disorders, including the development and evaluation of technology-enabled prevention and intervention efforts among young people. Hannah is also passionate about engaging with stakeholders and the community and regularly works with body image and eating disorder charities to develop and disseminate evidence-based resources.
The annual Young Tall Poppy Science Awards, created by the Australian Institute of Policy and Science, honour up-and-coming scientists who combine world-class research with an enthusiastic commitment to communicating science.
