Researchers in SEED Lifespan have been awarded competitive grants in recent MRFF funding rounds.

Congratulations to Prof Karen Caeyenberghs and the team including several Deakin researchers – A/Prof Lata Satyen, Dr Priscilla Gates, Dr Juan Dominguez and Prof Michael Berk for being awarded the 2024 MRFF Survivorship Care and Collaborative Research Prioritisation grant titled:  ASPIRE – A new scalable and sustainable platform to improve survivorship care for assault victims living with severe physical and psychological deficits. Congratulations to A/Prof Lisa Olive and her team on securing a $3.98 million 2024 MRFF Early to Mid-Career Researchers grant to optimise lifestyle therapy into routine childhood mental health services. The funding will support evaluation and implementation of CALM-Kids, an innovative program targeting physical activity, diet, sleep, and screen time to improve mental health symptoms in children.
